Implementation methodology

GoPro goes beyond simply implementing new applications; we focus on solving the underlying business challenges that drive system adoption. The success of any project relies on thorough planning and detailed analysis.

SURE STEP

We follow the Microsoft Sure Step methodology, which includes the following phases:

Analysis phase

During this phase, a thorough analysis of the client’s current business state is conducted, and clear goals are established.

Both short-term and long-term objectives are defined, with tasks assigned to team members. Data is collected, reporting requirements are identified, and the future state of the client’s business is projected.

The key outputs of this phase are the Functional Requirements Document and the Project Plan. These documents define the project scope, team members, and their responsibilities, project objectives, and the approach to achieve them. Approval and acceptance of these documents ensure excellent results and high client satisfaction. The quality of the analysis phase directly impacts the success of the entire project.

Development phase

Customization extends the functionality beyond standard out-of-the-box features.

Over the years, GoPro has developed numerous customized solutions and products, building a strong knowledge base that allows us to shorten delivery times while ensuring high-quality results.

The development phase begins with identifying end-users and creating Technical Design Documents, and continues through customization, development, and testing. During application design, created collaboratively by key users and application consultants, future functionality is defined, and future business processes are established. Current data is also prepared for migration to the new system.

Training phase

The training phase is crucial yet often overlooked.

Independent studies show that many companies fail to fully leverage their investments due to insufficient employee training. GoPro delivers on-site training for all implemented applications, addressing a wide range of client needs, and ensuring that teams can effectively use the system.

Deployment phase

The deployment phase is carried out in close collaboration with the client’s employees.

This phase is critical, as the results of the joint effort are now tested in the real business environment. All essential functions must be thoroughly validated before becoming part of daily operations. The deployment phase marks the conclusion of the active implementation stage. Following the successful system rollout, post-implementation supervision is conducted to assess performance, review results, and fine-tune long-term objectives. This process establishes a solid foundation for ongoing improvements to the implemented system.
