This is why conferences like the Supply Chain Summit are so important.
GoPro attended the Suppy Chain Summit at the Hyatt in Belgrade, held on June 6, 2022. The event brought together numerous experts from the world of logistics, distribution and warehouse management.
We learned about a handful of technological innovations – some in software, some in hardware – which are part of the magnificent logistics called Supply Chain Management.
With practical examples, videos and live demonstrations of devices, we learned the best applications and results of technologies that refine warehouses, manufacturing, distribution, and improve decision-making processes, cost and inventory management, etc.
The ubiquitous theme was procurement planning and keeping stocks as small as possible, while at the same time keeping up with trends and always being ready for sudden changes in consumer behavior.
After an unpredictable few years marked by the global pandemic, experts dealing with logistics and distribution in FMCG presented their responses to new challenges, commented on current trends in the region and the world, and offered us their opinion on the future and good strategies.
