December is the time of giving, so we are pleased to share that GoPro, in cooperation with colleagues, successfully raised funds and purchased the SpO2 monitor M800. This valuable donation was sent to the Reception Intervention Unit of the Institute for Mother and Child, with the intention of providing additional support and improving the health care of newborns.

The SpO2 monitor M800 with a Nellcor sensor is a sophisticated medical device that allows accurate monitoring of blood oxygen saturation, especially important in delicate and sensitive patients, such as babies. This donation aims to improve the medical equipment at the Institute, which directly contributes to faster and more efficient monitoring of the health status of babies.

This is not the only humanitarian action that we have conducted at the Institute for Mother and Child. At the end of 2021, GoPro together with Delphi bookstores prepared a donation of 500 books that enriched two libraries of the children’s oncology department, while together with the Crafter company, it donated a Mennen Medical® transcutaneous bilirubinometer, a device for safely measuring bilirubin in babies.

Supporting children’s hospitals is not only a humane gesture, but also an investment in the future of society. Companies that recognize the importance of this contribution not only help children with their challenges but also build a sustainable community that cares for the most vulnerable members.

We invite you to join us, as your possibilities allow, in order to provide the little ones with the care they deserve.
